“Differences are not intended to separate, to alienate. We are different precisely in order to realize our need of one another.”

About me

I’ve spent a total of 22 years living abroad and have felt at home in six different countries. Raised as a “Third Culture Kid” in Belgium, the US, and Spain, I first moved to Germany for a longer stretch when I was 18.

Following my training as a European Executive Assistant and my early career steps in Hamburg, the call of the world pulled me back overseas. My path led me to work for a German bank in Chile and a French automotive supplier in Mexico, among other experiences.

Throughout my 16 years working with international companies in Germany, I’ve navigated diverse corporate and multicultural environments daily. This brings a strong practical focus to my training sessions, where participants appreciate the breadth of my international background.

My family and I have been based near Hannover since 2011. We’ve set down firm roots, but the urge to discover the world never quite fades.

My Why

Connecting cultures – with other and within.

To me, change means growth. Growing up between different cultures, I learned early on to adapt like a “cultural chameleon”—often at the expense of my own authenticity.

This formative experience sparked my passion for building bridges between cultures, as well as my dedication to interculturality, transculturality, belonging, identity, and personal growth.

Step by step, I uncovered what lies at my core. Today, I embrace the colorful mosaic of my multicultural “inner team” as a strength.

Now, I share my knowledge and experience to empower others on their journey to finding their inner home and unlocking their full potential.

In times of growing global crises and rapid AI development, I am convinced that inner clarity and resilience keep us grounded and capable of actively shaping the future.

When we truly arrive within ourselves, we can build genuine bridges to others—and change the world together.

My Coaching Approach

Side by Side & With the Big Picture in Mind

You, your personality, your potential, and your resources are at the center of our work. As an equal partner, I create a safe, confidential space for your personal growth.

Using systemic approaches, I do not offer off-the-shelf solutions. Instead, I empower you to gain new perspectives and expand your scope of action. I particularly enjoy using the “Inner Team” framework—bringing a trained eye to the rich diversity of your multicultural inner team.

Culture-Sensitive and Trauma-Informed

In coaching, I always keep your cultural background in mind. My sessions often go deep, uncovering persistent blockages. To guide you safely and effectively through these moments—while strictly respecting the boundaries of psychotherapy—I have completed advanced training in trauma-informed coaching. This creates a solid foundation to dissolve old patterns sustainably and noticeably broaden your possibilities.

I offer coaching sessions both in person and online.

Training Methods

Following an in-depth initial consultation, each training module is custom-tailored to the specific needs of your organization and participants. The content combines solid theoretical foundations with rich, practical case studies, delivered through engaging and interactive methods—available both in-person and online.

Warum Chameleon Coaching?

Fun Fact: Chameleons actually don’t change their color for camouflage, but primarily to communicate with other chameleons!

I describe myself as a “cultural chameleon”—a term I came across in connection with Third Culture Kids. As a child, I lived in three different countries: Belgium, the U.S., and Spain. At home, we spoke German. Time and again, I was the new girl, the foreigner; I had to learn a new language and get used to local customs. It was important to me to make new friends and feel like I belonged. My strategy back then was to adapt—like a “cultural chameleon.” Even though we now know from biology that chameleons actually change their color for other reasons, this term has stuck in the literature.

Over the course of my adult life, as an Adult Third Culture Kid, I’ve learned to move away from over-adaptation and back toward my true identity. We all possess the treasure of inner plurality. For people who, like me, grew up in different cultures, it’s quite a colorful, multicultural mix!

As a coach, I guide people in getting to know their multicultural inner aspects using the Inner Team method developed by Schulz von Thun and Dagmar Kumbier. The Inner Team approach is versatile and particularly well-suited for intercultural and transcultural contexts.
