Connecting cultures.
With others and within.

Intercultural Training, Coaching and Mentoring for people who feel at home in more than one place.

Welcome to Chameleon Coaching!

For 10 years, I have been accompanying individuals along their unique journeys between cultures, belonging, and identity.

With great enthusiasm, I prepare professionals for international assignments and their return, deliver cultural awareness workshops, and support multicultural teams in building successful collaborations.

In coaching, I step out of my trainer role to create a safe space for my clients’ concerns, goals and personal topics. I work particularly with individuals who identify with two or more cultures and feel lost somewhere in between. Here, I like to draw on the Inner Team method to help my clients reconnect with their own strengths. Because:

When you understand yourself, you can change the world!

I am committed to promoting cultural diversity both professionally and through voluntary work, striving to contribute to a more inclusive and future-proof society.

Feel free to explore my website to learn more about my work and qualifications. If this resonates with you and you would like to work together, simply reach out or book a free discovery call right away.

I look forward to accompanying you for part of your journey!

Why Chameleon Coaching?

Fun Fact: Chameleons actually don’t change their color for camouflage, but primarily to communicate with other chameleons!

I describe myself as a “cultural chameleon”—a term I came across in connection with Third Culture Kids. As a child, I lived in three different countries: Belgium, the U.S., and Spain. At home, we spoke German. Time and again, I was the new girl, the foreigner; I had to learn a new language and get used to local customs. It was important to me to make new friends and feel like I belonged. My strategy back then was to adapt—like a “cultural chameleon.” Even though we now know from biology that chameleons actually change their color for other reasons, this term has stuck in the literature.

Over the course of my adult life, as an Adult Third Culture Kid, I’ve learned to move away from over-adaptation and back toward my true identity. We all possess the treasure of inner plurality. For people who, like me, grew up in different cultures, it’s quite a colorful, multicultural mix!

As a coach, I guide people in getting to know their multicultural inner aspects using the Inner Team method developed by Schulz von Thun and Dagmar Kumbier. The Inner Team approach is versatile and particularly well-suited for intercultural and transcultural contexts.
